West Houston Medical Center is a 221-bed full service hospital located in Houston. It is expanded with women’s, cardiovascular, surgical and critical care services to serve better to the west houston community. The new facility added more than 95,000 Sq.Ft. of new construction, 33,000 Sq.Ft. of renovations and 23,000 Sq.Ft. of shell space.
The proposed project includes a new, three-story bed tower that will connect to the northeast side of existing hospital. The new tower will house cardiac services, the including two cardiac cath labs, one bi-plane electro physiology lab, and five diagnostic procedure rooms with 10 cardiac recovery bays. The tower will also house shell space for future expansion of telemetry medical/surgical beds.
