Brief Info

Salalah Airport is the second gateway of the Sultanate of Oman; located on the Salalah coastal plain, 5.5 kilometers northeast from Salalah’s city centre.
 BIM was used for the expansion and modernization of the new terminal for accommodating 2 million passengers per year. Once the airport gets fully expanded it would be able to handle 10 million passengers. The project also comprised of the construction of a sea cargo terminal and modernized runway and taxiway system. As per statistics, the airport handled 1,198,846 passengers in 2016.
