Brief Info

Los Angeles City College Holmes Hall Student Service  Building was renovated & modernized using BIM. The renovation was for an existing 2-story building on 30,656 SF, with a basement. New installation helped to modify an existing fan coil unit & improve air distribution, upgrading the network & A/V capacity for bringing the building to the current ADA standards & the design of a new central HVAC system.

The new 3 story Student Services Center on 73,000 SF, on the footprint of the old MLK Library houses administrative offices for the sake of campus admissions, business office, student assistance as well as transfer & counseling functions. The project was certified by LEED.

BWE is the Structural Engineer,  Los Angeles Community College District is the Owner,  Sillman Wright is the Architects and Harper Construction is the General Contractor of the project.

Construction Completion Date – 2017

Project Construction Cost – $58 Million
