Brief Info
Gordon J. Lau School has a culturally and ethnically diverse student population; believes in validating, promoting, and celebrating cultural and linguistic diversity on a daily basis. In the process of modernization,
a new elevator tower was added to the south side of the building to provide ADA access to the upper floors. Slate cladding was selected to enhance the original building, and for its durability and low maintenance cost. The roof was reinforced to support a rooftop play area, and a covered walkway leading to the elevator was constructed.
