Brief Info

Pinnacle created the BIM models of New Orleans International Airport consisting of 2 Buildings – Terminal (3 floors spread over 5 zones) & Concourse (2 floors spread over 6 zones) for fabrication at Level of Development 400. The models were used to produce shop drawing for construction and also to meet various objectives of the project viz. 3D coordination, clash mitigation, quantity take-offs, visualization and 4D capabilities for scheduling, phasing, sequencing and digital mock-ups. The BIM model of the New Orleans International Airport was divided into separate levels and zones for efficient working and coordination of various trades by concentrating on particular location of the building. Moreover, the breakups helped to reduce the file size to handle and deliver the files smoothly, avoiding technical glitches.
