Sean Flaherty, the CEO of Nemetschek Vectorworks boasts of Vectorworks 2011 that has released this week, as the biggest release in the the history of Vectorworks.He was addressing a press meet while he threw some light on the necessary changes needed to be done in our different functionality. This process includes addition of Open Database Connectivity, new text editing systems, 3D wall components, etc.The company is about to launch an array of new features, especially a few that take the company into the world of 3D.

According to Biplab Sarkar,the chief technology officer of Vectorworks, the company now offers a 3D modeling environment. Vectorworks offers service of drafting on the arbitrary working planes. The

service provider also takes care of interactive modeling on the basis of drafted entities. 2D planar can be created or edited inside the planar context, where they are displayed. Users are left with the option of working in top/plan display or they can switch to 3D format. They can still continue working in the same way, with the same types of operations and tools.

Vectorworks Architect have restructured their service providing and also has initiated the usage of new tools in order to enhance productivity,quality of design,and to help in collaboration. To the users the floors with its components,new 3D wall components and stair and space objects quite useful for creating building model. The product supports IFC open standards and at the same time is inter-operable with an array of other products in accordance with the BIM workflows.
