Arabian Construction Week 2011 will be held in March. Different summits at this event will hold discussions on different aspects of construction and implementation of Green building.

Clarion Events, Middle East is planning to host 4 conferences at the Arabian Construction Week. The event will take place in Abu Dhabi, this year. The event will commence on 28th March and will be going on till 30th of the same month in 2011, at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The conferences will focus on topics like, Infrastructure, Building Smart, Green BIM modeling and Climate Control.

Three dedicated trade shows will also be organized at the Arabian Construction Week. The shows will be dedicated to the Future of Building in Middle East for new-age construction products. Civil Engineering construction process in the Middle East, with major infrastructure developments will also be highlighted in the show.

Building Smart, the concept of integrated construction and achieving it will be the central theme of the event. Three parallel summits will be taking place, supporting Green Building, Building Smart, Climate Control and Infrastructure. The conference will demonstrate elaborately, how these processes can be instrumental in generating and controlling real-time data. Ultimately, the processes will result in efficient implementation of proper designs, profitability and cost effectiveness, specially in the changing economic environment post recession.

Abdelrahman Muneer, the development manager at building SMART ME stated that in November, 2010, at a conference held at Abu Dhabi, buildingSMART ME published results of a survey. The survey was done on people's awareness about BIM or Building Information Modeling in the present day construction industry of Middle East. The survey will encompass fields like proper deployment of the processes and the arguments against their deployment. BuildingSMART ME is a non-profitable international organization in the construction business.

The conference held in 2010 established the inclination of the government and the industry leadership towards all these innovative procedures. The standards set during 2010 are in the process of development. These processes will be launched at the 2011 Arabian Construction Week.

Leading sustainable building experts will enlighten the visitors at The Summit on Green Building at Middle East on 'green' technologies, its practices, materials needed and initiatives taken for the benefit of construction across the Middle East. They will update the delegates about the recent scenario of power projects, rating systems, carbon reductions and educational development.

The summit is going to focus on the key areas of infrastructure like, building schools, industrial projects, ports, roads and railways. The Infrastructure Summit will discuss on the future of these developments and provide construction update on the Khalifa Port and Industrial Zone. Moreover, discussions will take place on new building methods that can be benificial for ports projects coming up in the UAE and outside.

Climate Control Summit will focus on district cooling and other standalone systems on issues like, commercial, vertical and horizontal residential, and developments of technologically viable, and economically sustainable cooling solutions.
